Last weekend I flew down to Wellington and helped my Coco Kids gals at our second Craft 2.0 stall. It was one busy weekend and one busy day!
Craft 2.0 is a cult Wellington craft fair for style junkies, craft enthusiasts and all fans of handmade. A favourite on the Wellington arts calendar; Craft 2.0 runs four times a year at The Dowse Art Museum, attracting a wide following of quality stall holders and eager shoppers alike.
The three of us had been busy knitting when we could amongst our 9 children and life in general. We all had our own challenges but got some beautiful items together for the big day.
Our Coco Kids Stall at Craft 2.0 April 2011
It’s always lovely to hear and see people commenting on your creations. Sometimes you make something and you think hmmmm not sure if I like it now! Then you find that someone just adores it and buys it! 🙂 I managed to knit and chat for a bit of the time there too.

It was a busy weekend and once i got home to Auckland and stopped moving I felt so shattered! However I did finish a cardigan for little baby on the way that I started on Thursday night before I flew down. I’ll show this cute wee creation in a new post of the wee baby knits.
I have finally got around to adding the Little Rascals by Julia Stanfield range to the items I can custom knit.
Check out this link for more information.
I am going to list another new design soon…..
Off to do some more sewing!
Excited! I am flying down to Wellington to partake in Craft 2.0 even tomorrow as Coco Kids have a stall for the second time. We have all been busy amongst the busy-ness of our family lives.
Here is a funny photo that just looks bizarre! I am taking my daughters doll to demo some of the items…here she is in my suitcase. It just looks wrong!

Julia from Coco Kids & Just One W.I.P blog:
On the 22nd of February 2011 at 12:51pm the Christchurch that we know was changed forever, as were the lives of many many Cantabrians when the earthquake caused the ground to shake so violently.
So to generate some funds to help support Christchurch Julia from Coco Kids will be donating 100% of pattern sales from her Teacher’s Pet pattern to the Red Cross for Christchurch till the end of April 2011.
You can purchase it for $5.50USD through Ravelry here or through her ‘patterns’ tab here.
Teacher’s Pet is a simple and seamless (top-down) pattern for a gorgeous yet practical wee dress.
The Teacher’s Pet pattern contains a number of options –
– 3 different skirt options, a full skirt, a box pleat and a petal style pleat
– an optional hood
– belt and belt loops
– eyelet holes for a ribbon or i-cord
– a variety of hem options
– garter or moss stitch edges
– instructions for knitting a contrast edge
Sizings range from a 17” chest (3-6 months) up to a 23” chest (4 years) with instructions for a 25” chest (size 6) and 27” chest (size 8) to follow
The patterns can be knit in either DK (8ply) or worsted weight (10ply) as long as a 20 sts gauge is used.
The pattern also includes a printer friendly version at the end – so it’s possible to download the full pdf with all the info and pretty pictures, but if you prefer to save paper and ink simply print the last few pages of the pdf. You’ll be sent a pdf of the pattern.
