Excited! I am flying down to Wellington to partake in Craft 2.0 even tomorrow as Coco Kids have a stall for the second time. We have all been busy amongst the busy-ness of our family lives.
Here is a funny photo that just looks bizarre! I am taking my daughters doll to demo some of the items…here she is in my suitcase. It just looks wrong!

I can now show the handmade presents I had put together for my nieces and nephew.
Fabric Kaia Babydoll for two nieces with fabric flowers
3rd Fabric Kaia for another niece
Magicline and BWM cotton for the top with picot cast off for shoulders.
Fratello top in size 3 for nephew. Unfortunately it's too short so will have to undo and more length.
Sleeves with wee cables
The real colour is a dark green called “Holly” from The Wool Company, NZ.
I have just made my first Kaia Babydoll but with a fabric skirt – perfect for Summer!
Pretty cute dress
Ain’t it cute? The bodice is a quick knit in bamboo/wool mix with cotton skirt. I can feel I’ll be making a few of these for wee girls I know…. 🙂
I have loaded up some summer items and reduced their prices by 15% 🙂
Check out my For Sale page to see them.
Please also check out Coco Kids blog for more 15% off items by my friends Julia and Ali.

I was very much relieved to package up my goodies to pass on to Julia for this weekend’s Craft 2.0 event where us gals at Coco Kids are having our first ever stall!
Here are some sneak peek photos from me….
Come and check us out. Ali & Julia will be there with big smiles on the first floor 🙂 Say that Kate sent you 😉

The good news is that the vegie garden is GROWING wonderfully! We have been watering it each night but the last night or two it has rained anyway so haven’t needed too.
Also growing are my current knitting projects also knowen as WIP’s (work in progress).
Three knitting projects
The pink project is a 3month sized Cassia designed by tiKKi in lovely pink cotton (oh so soft) which is a gift for a new baby girl, and the middle one is a top also designed by tiKKi called Adam vest also in cotton which will be perfect for summer wearing.

The one on the right is a Kaia Babydoll by Craftyweewifey using some hand dyed wool from The Wool Company. It’s rather bright and cheerful! The last two items are destined for sale at Craft 2.0 in a few weeks.
Hand dyed Kaia Baby doll top
I am near the hem of the Cassia so I aim to get that finished this week plus the Adam and Kaia are not far away from being finished. I just need to sit down and do it!!! Hubby is away for a bit and the kids are full on plus I am quite tired at the moment so time is limited. Wish me luck!
What are your tricks for squeezing in project time?
I have a confession. I can be horribly indecisive. I am a Librian too which figures!
Oh the indecisiveness is famous! Librans either sit on the fence, (attempting to appear pleasing to all parties), or they swing wildly from one side of the argument to the other, (and not necessarily dependant on who they are talking to!)
This is not the most reliable of signs, either in what they should do, or in maintaining any particular view point. They are often accused of being two faced. Beneath that charming exterior it is less well known, and stealthily concealed that they are very self centred, and insist on getting their own way, (whatever that is today). Indecisive, resentful, frivolous, changeable, flirtatious, easily influenced, highly susceptible to flattery.
I have kind of hit a knitting funk and I can’t decided what the heck to knit. I bought down two bags of yarn as I couldn’t decide what I am doing. I have three projects on the go but I started a 4th just before. Crazy and nuts! Three of the projects are for sale and one is for a new wee baby gift.
However on Sunday night I decided to take a quick holiday to visit my friend about 400kms away with the girls. I left the next morning and the drive down was great with only a few toliet stops and grizzles from Miss 2.
